My parents met when they were fifteen and sixteen years old and they were together for nearly sixty years. I can’t remember a birthday or a valentine’s day where my dad didn’t get something for my mom. Even when money was really tight and when it got to the point that he really couldn’t leave the house anymore he always found a way. Anyway that’s the first thing I thought of when I saw this picture.
